"From Shadows to Light" Contest

In 2024, ASATO and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) partnered up to share the importance of mental health awareness with the world. This year, with the our new Plush Cat (designed to create peace of mind) arriving, we will be donating profits from each one sold to the ADAA, to continue raising awareness for mental health awareness, advancements, and advocacy.

Now, we are calling students from universities across America to participate in our collaboration, From Shadows to Light - a transformative initiative that turns personal struggle into creative expression. We are seeking students from various disciplines, who are passionate about mental health, to help us create a name and back-story for our new Plush Cat. The up to1,000 word story should share the cat's journey, express the importance of mental health awareness, and convey ASATO's philosophy - creating value from past traumas and negative experiences.

We are accepting submissions until June, when we'll announce the winner. The winning story will be published on our websites, social media pages, and brand newsletters. Additionally, the author will receive a cash prize, ADAA gift bag, commemorative ASATO plush rabbit, t-shirt, 25% discount code, and a VIP invite to an upcoming ASATO event.
